Here is a true full circle moment.
Here I am, at 28 years old - doing a presentation for the year 7's at the very school i went to when I was their age until year 11.
They wern't even born yet before I was in year 7... but that's besides the point!
I came there to tell them :
what it's like to be at that school,
what it's like after leaving and mostly it was about how I became an author, particularly about the journey I took to get to where I am today - over 2 years later!
I came with a 12 slide presentation and answered all the questions they had for me, it was so fun.
After the presentation, the kids had the task of making up a whole fact page of their own and to write about 8-12 facts for the page using the IPad's they got provided with.
